NY officer hurt when 2 buses, patrol car collide

<div id="subtitle">Police officer seriously injured when 2 school buses, patrol car collide in NY's Hudson Valley</div><div><p>Authorities say an officer was seriously injured when two school buses carrying students and a police patrol car all collided in New York's Hudson Valley.</p><p>Town of Newburgh police say Officer Thomas Canavan was airlifted to St. Francis Hospital in Poughkeepsie after the Thursday afternoon crash. They had no further details.</p><p>The Times Herald-Record of Middletown reports that four students with minor injuries were taken to a hospital in Newburgh.
